HHHunt Named A Green Partner of Excellence

At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters, and we are committed to our Brand Promise of being a provider of quality products and services. Our team of professionals is constantly innovating to find the best ways to serve our customers, communities and the environment. We are so pleased to announce that HHHunt was named a 2019 National Green Building Standard™ (NGBS) Green Partner of Excellence by Home Innovation Research Labs. This certification recognizes single-family and multifamily builders and developers who have advanced green building in their communities and committed to voluntary, market-driven, third-party certification of high-performance homes.

This recognition demonstrates HHHunt’s commitment to sustainable practices that help make our world a better place. NGBS has certified more homes than any other national green home certification program. To earn certification, a multifamily building must meet rigorous criteria in six categories: Lot and Site Development; Resource Efficiency; Energy Efficiency; Water Efficiency; Indoor Environmental Quality and Homeowner Education. There are mandatory practices in each category that every NGBS Green Certified home or building must meet, and a wide range of additional practices that can be selected based on applicability to buyers or renters in the market. Mandatory point minimums are required in every category for a building to attain the next level of certification, which is more stringent than any other national certification program.

HHHunt’s first multifamily project to receive NGBS certification was Abberly at Southpoint in Fredericksburg, Virginia which opened in 2016. Since that time, every multifamily community by HHHunt has received certification including:  Abberly CenterPointe in Midlothian, Virginia, Abberly Solaire in Garner, North Carolina and Abberly Avera in Manassas, Virginia, among others.

We are so proud of this accomplishment and our talented team members who made it happen.
