Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Service in 2025

The holiday season is often filled with joy and celebration, but it can also be a time when a little extra kindness goes a long way. This December, HHHunt team members came together across departments and communities to spread cheer where it was needed most. From supporting local animal shelters to collecting toys and writing heartfelt messages, our teams embraced the spirit of the season as Engaged Community Partners.

Collecting Joy, One Toy at a Time

Across our Apartment Living communities, teams and residents participated in seasonal toy drives. Abberly Avera in Manassas, VA; Abberly Market Point in Greenville, SC; Abberly Place in Garner, NC; and Abberly Waterstone in Garner, NC, helped collect toys for children in their local communities. Abberly Avera led the way with 87 toys donated to Toys for Tots, an organization that supports disadvantaged children. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this season memorable for the children.

Letters of Gratitude

The HHHunt Marketing team gathered at the River Mill community clubhouse for an afternoon centered on giving back. During the event, team members wrote letters for Letters Against Isolation to support senior citizens and messages for Operation Gratitude to thank and encourage deployed troops. With festive holiday décor and team-building activities, it was a great way to spend time together and spread a little cheer.

Helping Pets in Need

HHHunt’s Finance and Accounting Team showed their love for four-legged friends through a pet supply drive benefiting the Henrico County Animal Shelter. The team collected a variety of essentials, including pet toys, treats and food. We love our pets and are always happy to help those in need, especially when it means supporting the animals who bring so much joy to our communities.
