Living Out Our Promises as Engaged Community Partners in June 2025

We know that where you live is just one piece of the puzzle. At HHHunt, we care just as much about the communities we’re part of as we do the homes we create—that’s why we show up, pitch in and lend a hand wherever we can. Volunteering is one of the most powerful ways we live out our brand promises. Through teamwork, compassion and service, we invest in the places we call home and the people who make them stronger. Over the past few weeks, team members across our divisions have stepped up in meaningful ways, reflecting a shared belief that runs deep at HHHunt: giving back matters.

Sometimes, the most impactful service happens behind the scenes. That was the case at Richmond ToolBank, where 22 HHHunt team members from our Richmond Corporate Office, including our HHHunt Communities team and Development team, donated a combined 88 hours to clean, repair and inspect the vast inventory of rentable tools and equipment. Richmond Toolbank supports hundreds of community projects across Central Virginia, so by supporting their operations, our teams helped empower countless nonprofits to build better communities.

A few weeks later, the Corporate Finance team rolled up their sleeves at Goochland Cares, assisting with everything from organizing the Clothes Closet and donation bins to assembling desks and painting tents for fundraising events. In Columbia, SC, the Abberly Village team took a similarly hands-on approach with Midlands Orphan Relief, assembling 20 care kits for children of all ages in under two hours. These efforts remind us that some of the most essential support happens quietly—through preparation, organization and care.

In Beaufort, SC, the Abberly Pointe team spent a day outdoors, cleaning up litter in local parks and beaches and donating essential items to individuals experiencing homelessness. As they put it: “You should always leave a public park better than you found it—and have a little fun while you’re at it!” In Raleigh, NC, team members from Abberly Royal Creek brought their energy to Run The Quay, a local race hosted by the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce. They cheered on runners, handed out snacks and supported community wellness. These moments of public service show how powerful it is just to show up.

And when a hands-on or in-person approach isn’t possible, our teams still find a way to make a difference. In Greenville, SC, Abberly Market Point partnered with Safe Harbor, a nonprofit supporting survivors of domestic violence, for a community donation drive. Residents and team members came together to donate food, clothing, furniture and household essentials—proving that generosity takes many forms.
