Holiday Food Drive

SHARE

HHHunt's Holiday food drive and Matching Donation was very successful! At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters and we are committed to being an Engaged Community Partner. This past November and December, our team members, residents, and family members participated in HHHunt’s Fifth Annual food drive benefiting local food banks across Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. It was a record-breaking year with 19,338 non-perishable food items collected! For each food item donated, HHHunt matched with a $1.00 monetary donation to local food banks.

The recipients of this year’s food and monetary donations from HHHunt included: United Way of Montgomery County, Healthy Generations Area on Aging, Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, Loudon Hunger Relief, Central Virginia Food Bank, Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, Chesterfield Food Bank, Northern Virginia Family Services, Western Wake Crisis Ministry, Community Christian Ministry, The Blessed Table Food Pantry, Garner Area Ministries, Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC, Fifth Street Ministries, Cooperative Community Ministry FB, Second Harvest Food Bank, Beach Food Pantry, Hope Station, Blufton Self Help, Harvest Hope, Mary's Kitchen and the Southern Maryland Food Bank.

Everyone deserves healthy and nutritious food options – not just during the holidays. That is why we are so thankful to everyone who participated in this year’s Food Drive. These donations will make a big difference in helping to stop hunger in our communities.
