HHHunt Invests $34 Million in Phase Two Expansion of Abberly Chase Apartment Community

RIDGELAND, SC - HHHunt Apartment Living has officially broken ground on the second phase of Abberly Chase, an established apartment community in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Construction began on February 12, 2026, marking a key milestone in the community's continued growth.

With a total development investment of $34 million, this expansion will introduce five new residential buildings, 120 additional apartment homes and new community amenities. Phase two builds upon the original Abberly Chase community, which was completed in 2009 with 13 residential buildings.

“The strong performance of the first phase at Abberly Chase made it clear that the time was right to move forward with phase two. Ongoing growth in the Ridgeland area, supported by strong market research, reinforced our decision to expand this well-performing community,” said Lance Goss, Senior Vice President of Apartment Living.

Abberly Chase offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes in a prime location just outside the city, combining comfort and convenience with thoughtfully designed living spaces. The second phase will expand these offerings with new amenities designed to enhance the resident experience. Planned additions include a second pool with a pool cabana, a dog wash, an additional dog park, a fire pit, a controlled package acceptance program, an outdoor pavilion with outdoor TVs and a grilling area.

Construction is expected to be completed in late 2027, with leasing anticipated to begin in spring 2027.
