HHHunt Gives Back: August 2026 in Action

At HHHunt, our brand promise to be an engaged community partner comes to life through the ways we give back to our communities each month. While our volunteer efforts focus on three key areas (housing, wellness and education), we encourage our teams to get involved with causes that are meaningful to them. Here’s a look at what our teams were up to this August.

Feeding Our Chesterfield Community

On August 31, our HHHunt Homes Richmond team volunteered with the Chesterfield Food Bank in Chesterfield, Virginia. They spent the day sorting 600 bags of meat that will go to individuals in need. The Chesterfield Food Bank is a non-profit organization with a mission to “feed those in need and empower individuals and families to overcome the root causes of food insecurity.” Our team was proud to play a small part in supporting that mission and helping put food on the tables of our neighbors. We are grateful for the continued partnership with the Chesterfield Food Bank and look forward to volunteering with them again in the future.

“HHHunt helped quality inspect and prepare nearly 600 bags of meat for three upcoming food distributions. That means nearly 600 families, individuals, and neighbors will have greater access to the food they need, all because of community partners like HHHunt who are willing to step up and serve alongside us. We simply cannot meet the need in our community alone. Partners like HHHunt make this work possible and help us build a stronger, more connected community together,” said Nicholas Jenkins, Director of Community Outreach & Communications at Chesterfield Food Bank.

Helping Others See a Brighter Future

The team at Abberly Southpoint in Fredericksburg, Virginia, invited residents to join them in giving back through an eyeglasses donation drive. Together, residents donated 27 eyeglasses and cases to support the Recycle for Sight program. Sponsored by Lions Clubs International, the program helps provide vision assistance to children and adults who may not otherwise have access to the eye care resources they need. We are thankful to our Abberly Southpoint residents for answering the call and helping others in need see a brighter future, literally!

Building Connections in Garner

Being an engaged community partner can take many forms. Along with donation drives and hands-on service, it also means showing up for the local businesses and organizations that make our communities stronger.

Abberly Place in Garner, North Carolina, is an active member of the Garner Chamber of Commerce, and Leasing Consultant, Lisa, serves as a Chamber Ambassador. On August 19, Lisa and fellow Leasing Consultant, Makayla, attended the Chamber’s monthly “Business After Hours” event at SpringHill Suites by Marriott. They spent the evening connecting with community leaders and business owners, learning more about their work while sharing more about Abberly Place and the lifestyle it offers residents. These conversations allow our team the opportunity to better understand the Garner community while helping businesses learn who we are and how we can support one another.
