At HHHunt, our commitment to excellence has a long history. It all started in 1966 when our founder, Harry H. Hunt III, saw the need for faculty and student housing at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. We have been building, developing and operating some of the most award-winning and celebrated apartment home communities across the southeast ever since. People are at the heart of every decision we make. Whether it be an apartment home, a new home, or a master-planned community, where we choose to live is a very significant and personal decision. That is why we strive every day to create a culture centered around customer service. Every single team member within the HHHunt Apartment Living family undergoes training through our in-house training program called HHHunt University. Overseen by our Director of Training and Development, Gabrielle Bouknight, HHHunt University includes thousands of online and in-person classes. These classes help our team think proactively about ways to improve our residents' apartment living experience and grow professionally.
Unlike most apartment living companies, HHHunt has always believed in professional development. We continue to invest heavily in every employee because this translates directly to a better experience for our residents. We also invest heavily in soliciting and engaging with residents for their feedback. Using J Turner Research, a multifamily customer insights platform, we proactively reach out to our residents several times a year to see how we can continue to improve.

One of the ways we do this is through resident engagement experiences like parties, events, contests, and community service efforts. Our apartment home communities are exactly that – a community where residents can build life-long friendships with one another and engage in meaningful ways. For example, every year, our apartment living communities participate in an annual food drive around the holidays. These food drives benefit local food pantries and provide the perfect opportunity to help others locally. Other events include trivia nights, food truck courts, paint and sip evenings, and holiday-inspired, family-friendly activities like pumpkin carving competitions and pool parties.
