HHHunt first entered the Charleston market in 2008 with the development of our Abberly West Ashley apartment home community. Since that time, we have grown our presence in the Lowcountry and are proud to be part of the fabric of the region. Charleston is home to many large employers including Mercedes-Benz Vans and Boeing Corporation which provide numerous opportunities for professional growth. The Charleston County School District offers a diverse and compelling array of innovative public schools and educational programs addressing the needs of students with every interest.
Charleston promotes the health and wellness of its citizens by providing a walkable city with an emphasis on outdoor recreation. Charleston County Parks and Recreation operates over 11,000 acres of property, including parks, a historic plantation site, fishing piers, waterparks, boat landings, a climbing wall, a challenge course, an equestrian center, cottages, campground, marina, and event facilities. Given the warm climate year-round, Charleston is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors and to experience nature first-hand.
You will never run out of things to do in Charleston, SC. The thriving city is home to charming cobblestone streets, guided walking and horse-drawn carriage tours, beautiful parks, gardens, museums, mansions, and so much more. Historic downtown Charleston is a favorite spot where you can find the iconic strip of colorful homes known as Rainbow Row, the College of Charleston, and King Street. And, if you’re a history buff, then a visit to Fort Sumter is a must. Located in Charleston Harbor, Fort Sumter is the site of the first shots fired in the Civil War. The South Carolina Aquarium is one of the most visited aquariums in the country and showcases more than 5,000 wild animals. The Sea Turtle Care Center is a popular area of the museum. During the summer, there is no better place to relax and soak up the sun than one of the numerous islands surrounding Charleston. There truly is always something to do!
