As we step into 2026, we’re not just turning the page on a new year—we’re celebrating six decades of building places people are proud to call home. Since 1966, HHHunt has grown from a vision into a trusted name in homebuilding, apartment living and community development. While our recent blog reviewed the milestones and achievements that defined 2025, this one is all about what’s ahead: continued investment in our teams and residents, new communities taking shape and fresh opportunities to innovate, grow and lead with purpose as we enter our 60th year.

In 2026, HHHunt Apartment Living continues to invest in its communities, with thoughtful updates that enhance comfort, connection and convenience.

• Abberly Green is undergoing Phase One renovations, with refreshed apartment homes featuring new kitchens and bathrooms, luxury vinyl plank flooring, stainless steel appliances and upgraded fixtures throughout, all scheduled for completion by the end of the year.
• Abberly Chase will begin construction on Phase two, marking the next chapter in the community's growth. While the phase is expected to open in 2027, work in 2026 will set the stage for expanded amenities, including a second pool, a fire pit area, a Pawsh Wash and a Luxor Package Room.
• Abberly Royal Creek will reach an exciting milestone with the completion of its final building, introducing new community amenities, including a Pawsh Wash and a Makers Room designed to bring residents together.
• HHHunt will begin construction on Abberly Rise in Greensboro, NC. This community combines contemporary design, modern amenities and a prime location that support how residents live, work and connect.
• In support of the teams who bring these communities to life, HHHunt Apartment Living will adjust office hours beginning in 2026 to close on Sundays, providing on-site team members with a consistent day of rest and reinforcing a commitment to a healthy work-life balance.

Looking ahead to 2026, HHHunt Homes is building on a strong foundation of strategic design, intentional growth and a continued commitment to helping buyers feel confident at every step of the way.

• New Communities are on the horizon, with townhomes and single-family communities taking shape across Richmond, Raleigh and Wilmington. Upcoming communities include Charter Colony Townes, Edgebrook Townhomes, Granite Ridge Townhomes and McQuillan Pines, with additional communities to be announced as plans are finalized.
• New floor plans, including the Harper and Donovan, are in development and expected to debut in 2026, offering fresh options for modern living.
• Enhanced customer experience initiatives will continue to leverage new technology to make information easy to find, questions easy to answer and the homebuying journey more seamless.

HHHunt Communities is looking forward to an exciting year of growth and progress across its planned communities, bringing new homes, amenities and shared spaces to life.

• The Draw at The Aire will debut as the community’s first open-air amenity, designed to encourage connection. The space will feature a pavilion, two grill stations for casual cookouts, a putting green, terraced playgrounds and decks overlooking the event lawn. The Draw will be the perfect space for homeowners to play, relax and gather
• Edgebrook will start construction on townhomes in May 2026, bringing new energy and low-maintenance options to Henrico County.
• Astoria will break ground in 2026, marking the start of an exciting chapter for this new community as it begins to take shape

Each milestone is about more than construction; it’s about creating spaces that are designed to bring people together and make everyday life more enjoyable for everyone who calls these communities home. As Craige Shelton, Director of Development, states,
