Summer 2026

Drone Progress Update

Progress is soaring at Charter Colony! Exciting developments are taking shape throughout the community. Charter Park Drive is nearing completion and will provide a direct connection to Midlothian Turnpike, enhancing convenience and accessibility for residents.

Construction is also well underway in Phase Two, which will introduce additional single-family homes and new townhomes by HHHunt Homes, offering even more opportunities to call Charter Colony home.

Looking ahead, the future amenity center, anticipated for Summer 2028, will feature a resort-style pool, outdoor gathering spaces, bocce ball courts, grilling stations and more, creating the perfect setting for recreation and connection. Residents will also enjoy a future disc golf course and a network of connected trails totaling more than one mile, making it easy to get outside and enjoy the community's natural beauty.

New Model Home Now Open

HHHunt Home’s new model, The Morgan is now open at Charter Colony. The Morgan is part of the Classic Collection at HHHunt Homes. This floor plan features three to six bedrooms, two-and-a-half to five baths, two-car garage and can range from 2,369-3,631 square feet. Fall 2025: Construction Continues at Charter Colony

Progress is picking up at Charter Colony! Hear from Project Manager, Taylor Campitell, as he shares an inside look at what’s taking shape across the community. Phase One is now paved and landscaped, while Phase two is actively under construction. You’ll also get a preview of what’s ahead, including the start of construction on brand-new amenities (like a resort-style pool, fire pits, a pavilion and more) designed to enhance everyday living at Charter Colony.

HHHunt Communities Announces Brand-New Villages to Charter Colony in Midlothian, VA.

HHunt Communities is excited to announce the addition of brand-new Villages to its award-winning Midlothian, VA, community, Charter Colony. For over four decades, our goal has been to enrich the areas where we develop and build. With these new Villages, we look forward to creating new places for people to call home in Charter Colony. The extension of Charter Park Drive to Old Otterdale Road will bring five new Villages featuring townhomes and single-family homes: Alcott Village, Bramley Village, Landon Village, Palmer Village and Townes at Palmer Village. HHHunt Communities is bringing new amenities, including a new 10’ multi-use trail along the Charter Park Drive interior, paved nature trails, a brand-new pool, a covered pavilion and a disc golf course. Villages will be full members of the Charter Colony Foundation. They can also enjoy the community’s existing parks, trails, pools, clubhouses, sports court, amphitheater, sand volleyball court and planned community events.

The first section, Landon Village, will feature first-floor living single-family homes from HHHunt Homes’ Clarity Collection. HHHunt Homes will offer a variety of floor plans with ample space for entertaining and everyday living for homebuyers to choose from. Starting in the $500s, these homes will offer first-floor primary suites and open-concept floor plans, providing homebuyers with low-maintenance living. Future sections coming in late 2024 and early 2025 will offer townhomes and single-family homes built by our award-winning builders.
