As the Chief Financial Officer for HHHunt Todd Kobayashi directs the accounting and financing needs for the entire range of HHHunt’s corporate finance and accounting functions across all business lines. Kobayashi works with all divisions to ensure debt and equity are available for new investment opportunities. He oversees the corporate cash flow and advises the CEO and COO regarding capital investments to support the company’s growth while providing strategic direction for financial commitments.
Todd Kobayashi joined HHHunt Corporation as Chief Financial Officer in August 2018. His 10+ years of experience will serve HHHunt well as we continue to grow our diverse portfolio. Since 2013, Todd has served as CFO at Foutch Architecture & Development in Kansas City, MO, a leading firm in the redevelopment of historic buildings. His chief areas of responsibility included finance, accounting, tax insurance, risk management and IT functions. Prior to Foutch, he devoted 9 years to Great Plains Energy/KCP&L where he served in several Vice President roles, overseeing departments dedicated to strategy, merger/acquisitions, power plant and wind development, risk management, pensions/401k management and investor relations. Kobayashi graduated Cum Laude from Miami University from Oxford, OH with a Bachelor of Science in Business, a Major in Finance and a Minor in History. He graduated from Miami’s Honors Program and was a scholarship member of the Division I baseball team. Kobayashi attended the Harvard Business School in Cambridge, MA graduating from the Advanced Management Program and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
