Your Guide to Celebrating Fall in Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston is home to charming cobblestone streets, guided walking and horse-drawn carriage tours, beautiful parks, gardens, museums, mansions, and our award-winning apartment community!  There are many great Fall Festivals coming up in Charleston this month including:

October 8-9- Oktoberfest

Enjoy an evening filled with German polka dancing, bratwurst eating contest, adult beverages, children’s games, face painting and more at Saint Matthew’s Lutheran Church on 405 King Street!

October 15- Harvest Festival and Block Party

Head to the 4th annual Harvest Festival, a free event for all ages at Olde Village in North Charleston!  Activities include trick or treating, a kids zone with crafts, face painting and inflatables, an artist market, pup-up pumpkin patch, live music and more!  This festival is named the “Best New Street Festival” by the Charleston City Paper!

October 16- Bark in the Park Oktoberfest

Pets are invited to bring their owners to North Charleston Wannamaker Park for Bark in the Park Oktoberfest! The costume-friendly event offers pet contests, entertainment, a pet parade, and more.

October 22- Ghostwalk

Listen to ghost stories, take part in festival games and enjoy delicious food, all while wearing your favorite Halloween costume. Hutchinson Square is surrounded by scarecrow displays created by local businesses and guests vote for their favorites.
