At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters and strive to create meaningful experiences and places of great distinction for our residents, both old and new. What better way to celebrate those meaningful experiences than to welcome new neighbors! Whether you are living in an apartment, neighborhood, or senior living community, creating new friendships with neighbors is important, so why not try one of these ideas to make them feel special:
- Create a Care Package: Bake a treat for your new neighbors as a special way to welcome them to the neighborhood. Put a creative spin on the traditional baked goods. Try making these “Home Sweet Home” Sugar Cookies instead! Your neighbors will love them.
- Create a Local Packet: Put together a basket with takeout menus from your favorite restaurants, information on the local gym, library locations, addresses to theaters and more. If your neighbors are new to the area, they’ll really appreciate the time you spent familiarizing them with their local surroundings.
- Host a Small Gathering: Once your new neighbors are settled in, invite them to a small gathering at your apartment or home. Keep the party small and introduce them to a few of your closest friends as to not overwhelm them. Try serving these delicious appetizers for all to enjoy.
- Community Event Invitation: Invite them to a community-wide event! National Night Out celebrations in Rutland, Charter Colony, and White Hall provide a great opportunity for family fun and getting to know one another.
We love seeing our residents spending time with one another and making new memories. We’d love for you to share your summer festivities with HHHunt on our Facebook page!
