The 4th of July is this weekend which means across the United States friends and family will gather to celebrate the founding of our nation. Now that over 55 percent of the American population is fully vaccinated, states and organizations are pulling out all the stops to make this a 4th of July to remember. 4th of July Weekend Celebration in Annapolis, MD

Fireworks and boats. Is there a better combination? An annual tradition, the 4th of July Weekend Celebration in historic Annapolis offers a great mix of family-friendly events. Things will kick off at 10:30 am with a parade along West Street downtown. This year’s theme will be a salute to first responders who played a vital role over the course of the pandemic. Around 9:00 pm, the skies will light up over Annapolis Harbor with a truly spectacular fireworks show that can be seen from land or on an evening boat ride tour.

An American Celebration at Mount Vernon

There really is no better place to celebrate the founding of our country than the home of our first President, General George Washington. Mount Vernon will host “An American Celebration” on July 4th where visitors can meet a George Washington impersonator, watch made-for-daytime fireworks, enjoy musical performances by the National Concert Band and more. Garner Independence Day Celebration

As longtime members of the Garner, NC community, we have to say that the Garner Independence Day Celebration is one of our favorites. This full-day celebration takes place on July 3rd at Lake Benson Park and includes food vendors, kids’ crafts, Garner Veterans Memorial tours, and performances by Johnny White and The Elite Band as well as the North Carolina Symphony. 4th of July Fireworks Blast

The 4th of July Fireworks Blast has become one of Charleston, SC’s most popular events of the year. The annual event takes place at Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum right on Charleston Harbor. Attendees will enjoy live music and fireworks will take to the sky around 9:15 pm. There will be plenty of opportunity for food lovers with over 10 different Lowcountry food trucks.
