The past two months have been a trying time for our communities, the nation and the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has altered our way of life, separated us from our loved ones and created unprecedented levels of uncertainty and anxiety. Despite these challenges, we are witnessing acts of heroism and kindness every day from nurses and doctors who are on the front line to families and volunteer organizations who are doing amazing things to support their neighbors.
I would like to take this time to thank our team members. Over the past several weeks, our team has rallied together to continue providing the loving, compassionate care that our Spring Arbor residents deserve. While things may look a little different, they have adapted to the current situation with grace, professionalism, and dignity. Every day, I witness the unique and creative ways our team members are enhancing lives. From social distancing birthday celebrations to one-on-one FaceTime calls with family members, our team is creating opportunities for residents to connect with loved ones and friends.
I would also like to thank our families and people in the local communities we serve. Your generosity and support have been overwhelming. From hand-made masks to food donations, your acts of kindness give us strength during this challenging time.
In closing, I want to share a poem we received from a family member. This touching tribute to our team members perfectly encapsulates why we do what we do every day.
Stay Safe. Stay Well. Stay Spring Arbor Strong.
