Spring Arbor Helps Families Stay Warm This Winter

Serving as an engaged community partner is not just a part of HHHunt’s corporate culture, but it is also one of our Brand Promises. Every day, we are inspired by our amazing team members who support their local communities. This week, we want to highlight Spring Arbor of Salisbury for collecting gently used coats for the Puritan Cleaners “Coats for Kids” campaign.

This has been an especially frigid winter and the need for warm coats is greater than ever. The team members, residents and family members at Spring Arbor of Salisbury in Richmond knew how important it was to make sure that children stayed warm this winter.

As a result, the community collected coats of all sizes to be sent to Puritan Cleaners to be washed, repaired and delivered to the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army then distributed the coats to needy families in Central Virginia. Since 1988, the “Coats for Kids” campaign has collected more than 400,000 coats! The outpouring of generosity was heartwarming – especially with the knowledge that each coat would eventually be given to a child in need.

We believe it’s how you live that matters. An important part of how our team members live is by participating in community service projects and supporting amazing organizations. Our teams work every day to improve the world. Thank you for all you do!

We invite you to visit our “How You Live” Stories to see more community service projects that members of our senior living, apartment living, new homes, and planned communities teams have participated in!
