The New Year provides us with a clean slate. It is a new opportunity to start fresh and strive to be better in our personal and professional lives. The tradition of the New Year’s resolution started nearly 4,000 years ago with the ancient Babylonians and today, these resolutions are grounded in changes that we make to improve ourselves and the lives of those around us. It is not dissimilar to HHHunt’s Vision of “improving the world and how people live by creating meaningful experiences and places of great distinction.”
We believe New Year’s resolutions are important and wanted to share ours with you. Our Executive Team sat down and pulled together some of the changes they will be making in 2021.
“The New Year is a great time to be reminded that time is short, and the years continue to tick by. In 2020, I lost friends and family members and it has driven me to think about the fact that we can’t just wait for life to come to us, we have to go get it.”
– Buck H. Hunt, CEO & Vice Chairman
“To strive to communicate with family, friends and colleagues in more personal ways (in-person and voice) and reduce reliance on text messages and emails.”
– Dan T. Schmitt, President & Chief Business Development Officer
“Well I don’t want to jinx mine, but it is to practice more appreciation and patience in my personal and professional life.”
– Steve Fritz, Chief Operating Officer
“I always like the beginning of new year; it’s a clean sheet of paper with no marks. I will strive to be a better listener for my family, friends and colleagues. In addition, for those of you who know me personally, I always have health and fitness on my resolution list as well. I will strive to make healthy food choices and move every day.”
– Ann Kelly, Chief Financial Officer
“My resolution is to be more present for my family and my team.”
– Kelly Rosato, Chief Human Resources Officer
At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters and our promise is to continue to better serve our customers and team members in 2021.
