FlingGolf, a new alternative to traditional golf, is offered at Hunting Hawk Golf Club and was the subject of a recent Richmond BizSense article by Michael Schwartz. Hunting Hawk considered other golf alternatives, but selected FlingGolf as it required no changes to the golf course and can be played alongside regular golfers. Currently, there are about 300 courses currently promoting this new game.
FlingGolf is played using a hybrid club (a cross between a traditional and a lacrosse stick) and is a good option for family outings because it’s less expensive and faster than traditional golf. It’s also be a great choice for corporate events and kids parties.
