HHHunt Wraps Up 30-Day Wellness Challenge

As an Employee Centered company, investing and empowering our team members is one of HHHunt’s key Brand Promises. For the past several years, we have held annual wellness challenges for team members, because investing in our team members’ is of the utmost importance. After all, wellness is not just about working out – it is about taking care of the whole being.

Over 300 team members participated in this year’s challenge, even though it looked a lot different due to COVID-19. The results were inspirational!

Here are some of our favorite Words of Wellness from team members:

“Take time for your mental health, time to breathe, unwind and recharge. I enjoy mornings outside before my kids wake up just to reflect, have my morning devotions, and to get ready for the day.”

Misty Ward, Spring Arbor of Kinston

“I learned to walk again after a traumatic accident in my 30’s. I’d tell anyone wellness and exercise aren’t a competition but a goal of achieving your better self. I’ve been walking three miles a day, and for me that is a miracle! Every day I stay strong and positive, and I hope only to continue this success. By next week, I know I can’t walk farther or run but I am proud to take part in the challenge and inspire others who, like me, aren’t so perfect. To be perfectly imperfect.”

Alexandra Myers Mertz, Spring Arbor of Leesburg

“During this quarantine and my kids not having preschool, I have stayed active by playing with my kids outside and breaking a sweat! Working out does not have to be boring. Playing baseball or basketball with my boys keeps me going!”

Chantal Kovacevic, Abberly Green

“You can accomplish your wellness goals anywhere, or with anything, or with anyone!”

Adam Cornelius, Business Development

“Don’t overwhelm yourself with a huge long-term goal that feels unreachable as your primary motivation, while you work hard each week and only see small progress in comparison. Keep a set of short-term goals in front of you that you can feel good about as you meet and beat them.”

Buck Hunt, Vice Chairman and CEO

At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters and investing in ourselves is incredibly important to our health, wellness, and happiness. Congratulations to everyone who participated in this year’s Wellness Challenge!
