HHHunt Teams Support Home for Good

As an engaged community partner, HHHunt believes it is important to positively impact the communities in which we live and work. These efforts are part of our team’s continued commitment to fulfill HHHunt’s mission of improving the world and how people live. HHHunt team members in the Roanoke area provided a helping hand to a major community initiative, and we wanted to highlight their efforts.

Finishing touches like a freshly-swept front porch, a tidy kitchen and bathroom and functioning new window blinds can help a house feel like a home. In July, HHHunt team members spent an entire day placing these finishing touches on a “Home for Good” project. The 10-week long initiative resulted in a very special home built by Habitat for Humanity and countless community volunteers in the Roanoke Valley.  Not only did these team members work tirelessly to help get the home ready for move-in, but HHHunt also served as a sponsor of the project.

Habitat for Humanity of Roanoke Valley helps families in the Roanoke area find stable housing on their journey towards becoming more self-reliant. This home became the 223rd home to be built as part of their efforts.

We are thankful for our team members who supported Habitat for Humanity’s “Home for Good” project.  In the words of HHHunt team member Tim Sandidge, “At the end of the day, community keeps us going.”
