HHHunt Participates in #GivingTuesday This Holiday Season

At HHHunt, we strive to build a better way of life and fulfill our vision of improving the world and how people life by creating meaningful experiences and places of great distinction. That means giving back to the communities where we develop and build and helping lift up those less fortunate whenever and wherever possible. We actively work together to find new ways to improve lives of those around us. We’re excited to participate in #GivingTuesday as a way of giving back to the community this holiday season.

Abberly at West Ashley donates food to Lowcountry Food Bank.

Now in its fourth year, #GivingTuesday is a nationwide day of community service with a focus on holiday and end-of-year giving. On December 1, 2015, charities, families, businesses, community centers, students, and more come together to celebrate generosity and giving back.

Walden Pond donates food and toys to the Lynchburg Humane Society.

Created by the 92nd Street Y in partnership with the United Nations Foundation, the day connects people from all over the world to bring real change to their communities. There are numerous ways to participate in #GivingTuesday, including hosting a food drive, having a conversation about community service, celebrating the holidays with those less fortunate, and many more.

Although residents, homeowners, and team members across all of our divisions give back to the community frequently, we wanted to give a shout out to some of our apartment communities that are actively participating in #GivingTuesday. They have been hosting food and clothing drives throughout November and will be donating all of their items to their prospective local organizations on December 1st. Thank you to Abberly at West Ashley, Abberly Village, Ashton Pointe, Auston Chase, Auston Grove, and Walden Pond for your donations to your local communities!

Participating in #GivingTuesday is yet another example of our philosophy that it’s how you live that matters. It’s important to us for everyone to have a great holiday season, and we hope that our donations make the holiday a little brighter for those less fortunate!
