We are continually inspired by our amazing team members as they reach out to support their local communities. This week, we want to highlight HHHunt team members in Richmond, Virginia, including HHHunt Communities and HHHunt Homes employees, who recently volunteered with Safe Harbor.
Safe Harbor is an organization that provides safe housing to victims of sexual and domestic violence in the Richmond area. The organization offers comprehensive services including a 24-hour helpline, child/youth services, community education and training, counseling, court advocacy, emergency shelter and hospital accompaniment. Founded in 2000, this nonprofit organization heavily relies on volunteer and charitable outreach to make necessary updates to their properties.
In February, HHHunt partnered with Safe Harbor to renovate a new emergency shelter. Team members installed new windows, cleaned up the yard, built new steps, installed new kitchen and bathroom appliances, painted, cleaned, and so much more. It was a busy day that was very rewarding for all involved!
