As a company, we strive to be an engaged community partner and are eager to support great organizations like Habitat for Humanity!
HHHunt has partnered with Habitat of Humanity of Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg to build a home in James City County near Williamsburg, VA. This home is for the Ragsdale family, including Audrey and her twin boys, Lamont and Lamond. HHHunt’s first group of volunteers started working on the Ragsdale family home in late September and the home should be complete by mid-November. Ms. Ragsdale has been a constant source of inspiration, encouragement and enthusiasm. In fact, members of the HHHunt Homes’ team received this enthusiastic email from Ms. Ragsdale recently: “Good morning. I had a wonderful experience Tuesday. The HHHUNT CREW ROCKS!!!”
This home build is part of Habitat for Humanity’s Home Builders Blitz 2017, which will help more than 200 families across the U.S. build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable housing. HHHunt is honored to be a part of this endeavor and to support our neighbors in need.
While discussing this partnerships with Habitat, Stephen Anderson, Division Manager for HHHunt Homes on Hampton Roads noted, “We believe that the dream of homeownership is a cornerstone of vibrant communities and we’re excited to build a home for Audrey and her sons, a well-deserving family that has inspired us.
