HHHunt Apartment Community’s Donation Helps Provide Homes

Helps Provide HomesAffordable and responsible homeownership builds brighter futures and stronger communities. That is why HHHunt continues to support the mission of Hanover Habitat for Humanity.  Hanover Habitat offers a “hand up” not a “hand out” to their homeowners, creating opportunity, stability and the potential for economic success for those who are willing to work to achieve their homeownership dream.

The Gardens at Twin Hickory, an HHHunt apartment community, donated appliances and cabinets to Hanover Habitat, which were  valued at $129,655. The appliances and cabinets will be used in Hanover Habitat homes and signify a significant level of support from HHHunt and The Gardens at Twin Hickory. Located in Glen Allen, The Gardens at Twin Hickory is a luxury apartment community in Richmond’s West End.  This is just the latest example of HHHunts commitment to Hanover Habitat for Humanity, over the summer HHHunt Communities partnered with Hanover Habitat House to build a home in 30 days.  We are excited that through the help of our wonderful vendors, community partners, and volunteers, the project was a tremendous success!

Janine Swiney, Property Manager at The Gardens at Twin Hickory, reinforced the importance of the donation. She said, “We’re honored to continue our support of Hanover Habitat for Humanity, which creates opportunity and support for those in need. This donation is just one example of our efforts to fulfill our vision to improve the world and how people live. These appliances and cabinets will help create homes for the worthy families that Hanover Habitat serves. We’re excited to strengthen our relationship with Hanover Habitat and look forward to partnering with the organization again!”

This partnership further reinforces HHHunt’s commitment to its vision which is to improve the world and how people live by creating meaningful experiences and places of great distinction. Read more about the donation in the Richmond Times-Dispatch Notable Gifts column.
