It’s the most wonderful time of the year for parents – a new school year! Each August, we see all of the stores decked out with notebooks, binders, pens, pencils and more. Here are some tips to make the new school year great:

- Eat a Nutritious Breakfast: Breakfast is the perfect opportunity to help your kids get a healthy dose of nutrients such as calcium and protein. Great options include whole grain cereal, low-fat milk, Greek yogurt and fruit!

- Research After School Programs: Consider after school programs in your area because they are an excellent way to keep your child involved and active!
