Embracing The Beauty Of Nature Across Our Company

Embracing Nature in our Communities

At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters and one of the most fulfilling aspects of life is embracing the beauty of nature. Since our founding in 1966, we have developed hundreds of apartment living,  new home, and master-planned communities that blend seamlessly into their natural surroundings. Through thoughtful design and unique amenities, our residents and homeowners enjoy the great outdoors just by stepping out their front doors. Here are some of the ways that HHHunt embraces the beauty of nature across our company.

Peaceful Gardens and Landscaping

No matter where you look, you will always find carefully tended gardens and landscaping at an HHHunt community. From the beautifully designed parterre garden (pictured above) at Mosaic at West Creek in Goochland County, Virginia our communities offer plenty of spaces for residents to relax and enjoy nature. To be as sustainable as possible, we take great care to plant many native species in our communities. Native planting helps nurture local wildlife including butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds and also conserves water. Our Mill Square Park amenity at River Mill in Glen Allen, Virginia recently won an award from the Home Builders Association of Virginia for its sustainable design.

Open Spaces

We are firm believers in open spaces. Passive recreational spaces like open fields are perfect for picnics, pick-up games of soccer or football, and just relaxing with a good book. Open spaces are also a natural gathering spot for homeowners and residents. The centrally located park and amphitheater at Wescott is one of the community’s most popular amenities. It offers homeowners a place to really enjoy the natural surroundings. The same is true at our Townes at North Salem in Apex, North Carolina, which offers four separate open play lawns. Open spaces have something for everyone!

Walking and Biking Trails

Wellness is an important part of our mission as a company. All of our communities feature walking or biking trails, like our fitness trails that connect our Mason Park community to the Virginia Capital Trail in Williamsburg. You can find hundreds of miles of walking and biking trails across our communities in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

These are just a few examples of how HHHunt has embraced nature across our company. With Earth Day and Arbor Day right around the corner, stay tuned as we highlight all the ways we are going green as a company.
