Being An Engaged Community Partner

Being An Engaged Community Partner

At HHHunt, our Vision is to improve the world and how people live by creating meaningful experiences and places of great distinction. To accomplish this, we’ve outlined nine Brand Promises and Values that define who we are and what we stand for. One of our most important Brand Promises is to be an Engaged Community Partner. At the heart of this Promise is the realization and understanding that we are a part of the communities where we serve and have a responsibility to give back.  Here are just a few examples of the many ways our team is doing just that.

Safe Harbor’s “Walk to End It”

We just wrapped up Safe Harbors “Walk to End It” to raise funds to help survivors of human trafficking. Socially distanced walks were held in two of our Richmond area communities, Charter Colony and River Mill. More than 30 team members across our divisions and locations joined the cause by donating, fundraising and walking in their own communities, raising over $2,500 in addition to a company match from HHHunt. We are pleased to support Safe Harbor’s vision “that every person in our community can take pride in having safe homes and healthy relationships.”

Annual Food Drive

Every year, HHHunt launches a company-wide food drive benefiting local food banks across Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Last year was a record-breaking year with 19,338 non-perishable food items collected! We hope to break that record this year across our master-planned, new home and apartment living communities. So many have become food insecure due to the ongoing pandemic, and we are doing our part to help ease that need.

Habitat for Humanity

HHHunt has a long history supporting Habitat for Humanity across Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Whether it be serving as the signature sponsor for Habitat for Humanity of Goochland’s 25th home or painting a Habitat for Humanity home, our teams are committed to providing the dream of home ownership to deserving citizens. Habitat for Humanity continues to be one of our major philanthropic partners and we look forward to sharing more stories about upcoming projects soon.

American Heart Association

Last year, HHHunt was honored to partner with the American Heart Association for its second annual Hard Hats with Heart program in Richmond. The event promotes heart disease education and shares lifesaving tools with those in the construction industry. Our President, Dan Schmitt, served as chair for the event with real estate professionals from across Central Virginia joining forces to raise $189,500. These funds were raised to help reduce cardiovascular disease and improve health in the community. We continue to support and develop innovative new programming to support a healthy lifestyle in the construction industry.

At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters. These are just a few examples of how HHHunt is giving back in our local communities and supporting our Engaged Community Partner Brand Promise. Every day, our homeowners, residents, and team members do extraordinary things to make a big difference in the lives of others. We hope you will join us.
