At HHHunt, we strive to build a better way of life and fulfill our vision of improving the world and how people live by creating meaningful experiences and places of great distinction. Giving back in the communities where we live and work and helping those less fortunate are ways we live our brand promise to be an engaged community partner. This summer, all HHHunt divisions have been busy giving back to their communities!
School Supply Drive: HHHunt partnered with the Henrico County Public Schools’ Office of Family and Community Engagement to provide school supplies to Dumbarton Elementary School for our 4th Annual School Supply Drive. Several of our divisions served as drop-off locations for collected supplies. For those wishing to make a monetary donation, HHHunt matched the amount. Our apartment communities from Maryland to South Carolina are also participating in school supply drives in August.
ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation: River Mill, our newest community in Henrico, hosted this year’s Richmond Homearama. Homearama partners with ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation who provide assistance, support, and kindness to make life better for children with cancer. As one of the featured builders, HHHunt Homes of Richmond raffled off a beautiful playhouse to help raise an additional $2,000 for ASK! HHHunt also refurbished a Dream Room for Cam, an ASK child. Cam’s bedroom is sports-themed with custom furniture, a pitching machine, back-stop net, and more. Cam’s home also received improvements throughout.
Camp Wonder Hands: Abberly Village, an HHHunt apartment community in Columbia, SC, combined their annual pool party with a worthy cause this summer. The community sold raffle tickets to residents and their guests for a variety of exciting prizes. They managed to raise over $500 needed to send a child to Camp Wonder Hands, a six-day camp designed especially for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
Feed More: We are always blown away by our team members’ passion for giving back to their communities. This summer, team members from HHHunt were thrilled to volunteer with Feed More, Central Virginia’s core hunger-relief program. Volunteers performed a variety of tasks including preparing 460 pasta meals, 143 sandwiches and packaging juices, snacks, and desserts for delivery to those in need.
Habitat for Humanity: Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope with the vision of creating “a world where everyone has a decent place to live.” This perfectly aligns with HHHunt’s vision to improve the world and how people live, and that’s why we’re proud of our corporate partnership with Habitat for Humanity. HHHunt is serving as Goochland County Habitat for Humanity’s signature sponsor for the construction of their 25th home! Team members from all Richmond area divisions volunteered on the first day of framing the home. We can’t wait to see the finished project!
We believe it’s how you live that matters and focus on being a generous, engaged community partner with the help of our team members, homeowners, residents, and trade partners. We look forward to continuing our mission for the rest of the year and beyond!
